Super Green Smoothie + Review

The run up to Christmas and the Christmas period itself can be one of excess. Christmas parties, friends round for dinner, various festive foods filling the supermarkets shelves, it’s the season for indulgence. Filling yourself with all these indulgent and rich foods can take a toll on your health so I’ve come up with this super green, super boosting smoothie to keep your body ticking over nicely during the holidays.

I’m a Panasonic Blogger Ambassador for the year. My job is to use some of their fabulous kitchen products and tell you all about it. To make my Super Green Smoothie I used the Panasonic Pro Fresh Creations High Power Blender and I can honestly say it’s the best blender I’ve ever used and would love to add it to my kitchen.

To make a good smoothie you need a great blender and this one does not disappoint on any front, you can do so much with it. From making super smooth smoothies, to blending soups, blending foods from frozen, grinding nuts down to a smooth paste, this high-speed blender does it all and effortlessly too.

Gorgeously green and packed full of spinach to keep your iron levels up, coriander for fibre and vitamin c, apple because we all know an apple a day keeps the doctor away, cleansing lemon, ginger to keep your digestive system ticking over and water, this is going to revitalize your body and keep you going strong through the holiday season and beyond.

Super Green Smoothie

Course: Drinks
Servings: 1 serving

Total time: 7 min

Ingredients

  • 2 handfulls Fresh spinach
  • 1/2 Granny smith apple skin left on, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh corriander
  • 1/2 Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh root ginger grated
  • 60 ml Water

Instructions

  1. 1.Place all the ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth and lump free. For a smoother, less thick drink add as much water as needed. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
